Getting here

The last stretch
is uphill

The hotel is roughly 110 kilometres from Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) — about an hour and a half. The final climb up the Zuurberg Pass is gravel in places and best taken slowly, in daylight if you can.

From Gqeberha

Take the N2 towards Grahamstown, then the R335 north through Addo village. Follow the signs for the Zuurberg Pass and keep climbing — the hotel is at the top.

Nearest airport

Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha, about 110 km away. Car hire is available at the terminal; transfers can be arranged with notice.

Arriving after dark

Let us know your expected time and we will keep dinner and a light on. The pass is perfectly passable at night, but it is prettier by day.
